The creator of Yellowstone and one of its greatest stars, showrunner Taylor Shared, are engaged in a legal struggle. BOS Ranch, where the popular program is filmed, is being sued by actor Cole Houser’s Coffee Company for unpaid rain checks.

Taylor filed lawsuit

Taylor filed the lawsuit in Texas on November 21st, accusing Cole’s company of trademark infringement, unfair competition, and false advertising because, according to court documents shared by people, both his Ranch and Houser’s Coffee Company have similar branding marks. Taylor further claims that, since the train’s October launch, neither Sheridan nor BOS Ranch have granted permission or authorization for the train to use a mark confusingly similar to the BR brand for nearly identical goods. Taylor’s Ranch revealed its own collaboration with Community Coffee last summer.

Ews has contacted representatives for Sheridan and Hower for comment, but has not received a response. The star actor and the creator of Yellowstone are suing each other. Even though the Western drama ended after five seasons, with the first half airing in November 2022 and the remainder being postponed due to a writer’s strike, the news came seven months later that fans would still be able to follow the story of the Dutton ranch because Paramount revealed that a new series is already in the works to take over after Yellowstone’s conclusion.

His statement

“Do as we anticipate I will do first, or else you’re all fired. I love Montana, but I’m doing this for our family. They will fight you, and they will fight you dirty. Is there any other way to ruin them? Since she signed this order, it is a declaration of war, and we are already at war. I’m doing this for my father; I’m not doing it for this family. I love it when she gets angry because it means I’m going to make a lot of money.”

In a stunning statement to E News, CEO of co-production company 101 Studios David Glasser stated, “We are thrilled to bring this new journey to audiences around the world.” The Dutton story picks up where Yellowstone leaves off in another epic saga.
